Objective: To present an experience of caring science framed in the theoretical sense of philosophy and the Watson's theory of human care, while giving practical feedback within the context of art and human science. Methodology: Case study describing the experience of care, arising from the practice with patients in their area of performance originated in the nurse, patient, nurse-patient relationship and the context in which it develops. Conclusions: Approved situations of the practice. Determine the usefulness of the theoretical assumptions that fund the professional work and give value to the care of humans.
