Also it increases the stress coping, reduces anxiety and improves the quality of life. In primary care, the biopsychosocial approach must be present in care. From a nursing perspective CBT can relate to the standardized language of care. In fact NIC interventions related research is already available. Our case is a woman 51 years old multipathological, polymedicated, amputation of lower limbs and complications that entails dependence. After evaluating several problems are prioritized. The core is the CBT nursing intervention. After eighteen weeks, the patient expresses feelings of self-worth and self-esteem increased. Correlative to physical recovery, she has assumed more responsibility for self-care and health promoting (performing BADL, responsibility in IADL, improvements in nutrition, weight loss, increased willingness to cooperate in rehabilitation, available for leisure activities, etc.). Expressions of sadness and guilt have been replaced by acceptance and coping with disability. Our case shows the impact that the CBT has had in problems coping. Specific training is important and develop communication skills in daily work inclusive.
