Introduction: The aim of this study is to analyze the scientific evidence that studies the alteration of the analytical values in cord blood related to the moment of the clamping. Methodology: Literature review by searching secondary databases with keywords. Study period: November 2014 to January 2015. After searching proceeded to make a critical reading in pairs and synthesis results. Conclusions: We deduce that the clamping time is decisive for the interpretation of the cord gases. found no significant differences between the results of pH studied because only low-risk deliveries.
