The presence of blisters around the genitals is not a usual reason to medical consultation in primary care Paediatrics. Therefore we must really pay attention to detecting those cases and we must be very careful dealing with the adult or legal tutor who brought the case to have it properly studied, in order to establish whether there has been sexual abuse and give the child the best possible treatment causing the least possible damages. A case where there was sexual abuse suspicion in primary care is presented; it was referred to hospital for confirmation. Publications about sexual abuse in children were revised.
