Methods

This was a cross-sectional analytical field study of a quantitative approach, with 121 women participating. WHOQOL- BREF was utilized to measure the quality of life.

Results

The quality of life General Index was 63.7.The domain with the worst average was the environmental (54.6). There was a statistically significant difference (p=0.035) when comparing women who reported health problems and those who did not and among women who feel pain or not (p=0.001) in the physical domain and quality of life General Index (p=0,003). In the comparative analysis of the quality of life index and lifestyle there is no statistically significant difference in this sample.
