There is no consensus to define continuity of care, in general is understood as the perception that an individual has coordinated information transfer personalized care needs in time of nursing. The laws and regulations which have been implemented in the continuity of care have enabled the development of the nursing profession, through use of an increasing set of data, which employs a normalized and standardized language allowing a rigorous and concise communication. So we have developed two comparative tables that reflect the implementation of minimum data sets that require the development of a nursing report.
Palabras clave : patient discharge; continuity of care document; nurse; nurse report; mínimum data set; legislation.
