GIACOMOTTI, José D.; ALI, Agustín; LOPEZ, Tomás  e  PIQUE, Héctor. Anatomy of the nasal dorsum: study of the lower third in the naturally harmonic nose. Cir. plást. iberolatinoam. [online]. 2016, vol.42, n.4, pp.313-320. ISSN 1989-2055.

Background and Objective. From a heterogeneous set consisting on 30 nasal prototypes, we deliberately selected 10 that presented profile with optimum definition of the dorsum and intermediate thickness skin in order to systematically investigate, in the last ones, the initial segment of the upper border of the external wing branch and the distal segment from the anterior border of the triangular cartilage. Methods. Through routine dissections, the analysis was performed with previously formolized material of adult individuals, both sexes and white race. Results. We identified their regular characteristics and according to differences found in the rest of the available material, 20 prototypes, we intended later a relevant classification. Conclusions. This analytical sequence directed us towards our main objective that is to demonstrate with propriety that a singular behavior between both cartilaginous elements invariably configures a deep promoting angle of sufficient projection in the cutaneous profile of the lower nasal third.
