The value of the human being is born from his own nature as such and not from the circumstances, therefore, the concept of dignity materializes as the main element to take into account during the care relationship process. The concept of dignity and its meaning has evolved to the beat of the times and to the change of mentality and evolution of human thought and it is necessary to make a historical journey through the evolution of such a concept in order to fully encompass its meaning, importance and concept.
