Approximately 30 % of falls in adults causes injury between 4% and 6%, causing serious damage consequences and severity, with immediate effect in the moment or late. Advanced age is described as a prominent factor in all studies, with the most prevalent risk factor identified in falls. A third of people over age 75 and half of people over age 80 suffer at least one fall per annum, and whose most frequent fracture. A femur fracture is a break in the proximal end of the femur near the articulation. Femur fracture is a term commonly used to refer to four different fracture patterns and very often favored in most cases, by osteoporosis. This implies that the hip fracture is given by osteoporotic bone fragility and fostered by a fall or minor trauma fortuitous. Currently, the mortality for femur fracture operated with a mean age of 75 is higher than in the general population, representing a 30%, of which a 80% are women.
