SANCHEZ, MR.; FERNANDEZ-CONDE, ME. y SAMANIEGO, C.. Macro-LD: isoenzimas de láctico deshidrogenasa ligadas a IgA e IgG en un paciente con poliartritis crónica. Rev Diagn Biol [online]. 2001, vol.50, n.1, pp.38-41. ISSN 0034-7973.
We report a case the concomitant increase of lactate dehydrogenase enzyme (LD; EC 1.1.1.27), IgG and IgA immunoglobulins levels, in the serum from a patient suffering chronic polyarthritis and presenting signs of autoimmune disease, due to make of solubles complex between these immunoglobulins and LD4 and LD5 plasmatic isoenzymes. The macromolecular nature of the patient´s LD activity elevation, was demostrated by electrophoresis on agarose gel for LD isoenzymes. To identifity the bound immunoglobulins we propose a immunosubstration method, using specific antibodies coupled to solid supports, before the electrophoretic run. With samples of serun exposition to corresponding antisera is obtained the electrophoretic separation of the five LD isoenzymatic bands therefore its identification and quantification.
