ORELLANA, M.A. et al. ¿Es correcto realizar el control de T.A.O. en sangre capilar, siguiendo los criterios de INR en sangre venosa? . Rev Diagn Biol [online]. 2002, vol.51, n.4, pp.131-134. ISSN 0034-7973.
The results of oral anticoagulant therapy are analysed in capillary and veinous blood. 155 patients were studied. It was determined: INR in plasme in the 12 de Octubre Hospital and the C.E.P. Pontones; and INR in capillary blood. The INR in plasme was made in the CA6.000 System ( DADE-Berhing ) in the 12 de Octubre Hospital and C.E.P. Pontones and capillary INR was determined in the Trombotrack System (Nycomed). The Pearson's correlation coeficient were: r= 0.93 between capillary INR and the 12 de Octubre, r= 0.92 between capillary INR and C.E.P. Pontones and 0.97 between C.E.P. Pontones and the 12 de Octubre Hospital. The agreement degree between different methods were: 0.34 between capillary INR and C.E.P. Pontones, 0.24 between capillary INR and the 12 de Octubre Hospital and 0.71 between the12 de Octubre Hospital and C.E.P. Pontones. The therapeutic attitude was different in more than 50%. The plasme and capillary INR are not exchanged and cannot be compared.
