Abstract

RIVAS CAMBRONERO, Eva. Childhood anorexia: The etiological hypothesis. Rev. Asoc. Esp. Neuropsiq. [online]. 2005, n.94, pp.19-28. ISSN 2340-2733.

We think about differencies between chilhood and adolescence anorexia to emit an etiological hypothesis. Little children with anorexia have not aesthetic ideals nor intention of becoming thin or slender and this permits looking to the real condition of their symptom: a confusion between need, request and desire in the maternal-child relation. This is illustrated with a case description.

Keywords : Childhood anorexia; need; request; desire.
