The aim of this paper is to develop a proposal for outpatient psychotherapy for women victims of intimate partner violence. This proposal is based on the Transtheoretical Model of Change. This theoretical frame makes it possible to show a map of the psychological pathway of women victims of intimate partner violence and to identify relevant events, processes and tasks to establish the guidelines for psychotherapeutic intervention.
