Resumen
ARROYO-GUILLAMON, Rafael. Derrida and the Post-foundation of Psychoanalysis. Rev. Asoc. Esp. Neuropsiq. [online]. 2024, vol.44, n.145, pp.151-171. Epub 02-Ago-2024. ISSN 2340-2733. https://dx.doi.org/10.4321/s0211-57352024000100008.
After its rapid expansion during the first half of the 20th century, psychoanalysis gradually lost its influence. Today, psychoanalytic doctrine has not finished making its place among the most legitimized practices of mental health care. However, given the relevance it achieved, it is pertinent to study the factors that influenced its decline. This work focuses on the philosopher Jacques Derrida's considerations on the institutional functioning of psychoanalysis. Its objective is to critically analyze the politics of French psychoanalysis at the end of the 20th century, especially their teaching model. To do this, several Derrida's texts regarding this matter at the end of his career are examined; his proposal for a new teaching for philosophy is applied to psychoanalysis; and his coincidences with the psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan are analyzed. Finally, the idea of a post-foundation of psychoanalysis is proposed.
