Introduction: Chronic noncommunicable diseases account for 82% of all deaths in Chile, they are associated with modifiable risk factors within those diet and physical activity. Physical education students do not have different eating patterns to those of other college students are more active but as subjects, should manifest more acceptable parameters regarding the average population. Objective: Knowing the nutritional status, cardiovascular risk and blood glucose level of university students of Pedagogy in Physical Education (EUEF). Material and methods: The research provides a non-experimental, descriptive, transversal, with a quantitative approach to design. The sample included 83 people, divided into 30 ladies and 53 men. It was determined in each subject BMI, cardiovascular risk, and a fasting blood glucose sample. Results: Women have an average BMI of 22.9 kg/m2, 0.45 waist-height ratio, an waist-wrist index of 0.75 and glucose 62.8 mg/dl, while men 24.7 kg/m2, 0.47, 0.83 and 72.9 mg/dl for the same values respectively. Conclusion: The nutritional status and blood sugar of EUEF found in normal and have no cardiovascular risk, it is believed that practicing physical activity plays a key role in the values obtained, however more research is needed to confirm this.
