Abstract

Aim:
To evaluate user satisfaction in public dental services in Abancay. The specific objectives related to satisfaction according to sex, age, educational level, type of insurance and type of patient during their care. This is a cross-sectional study. Made in the province of Abancay located in the southern mountains of Peru. The sample was made up of 686 users between 18 and 41 years old, who were treated in various public dental services in the province of Abancay. The questionnaire applied to the participants was taken from the Technical Guide for the Evaluation of External User Satisfaction in Establishments and Support Medical Services" RM Nº 527-2011/MINSA provided by the Peruvian government, which was distributed in different networks. sociais networks in order to reach the largest number of potential participants and facilitate access to the questionnaire from different devices and locations. This allowed us to obtain a more diverse and representative sample for the study.
Results:
The results obtained in this study reveal that the population of Abancay in general has an expectation of 5.24 and a perception of 4.93, which is statistically significant.
Conclusions:
The results obtained indicate that the population of Abancay in general is not satisfied with the dental services in their region. To obtain a more complete and accurate understanding of these results, a more detailed and specific analysis of the local context and the characteristics of the dental services available in the area is required.
