Abstract

ALVAREZ MONTERO, S. et al. Multiple clinical scenarios (MUESCLI sessions): a step on problem solved learning for Primary Health Care teams . Medifam [online]. 2002, vol.12, n.6, pp.41-55. ISSN 1131-5768.

Theoretical arguments and evidences suggest that the most effective strategies for continuous education are those that have a strong link with professional practice. Problem-based learning is the acquisition of knowledge starting from a problem that reproduces the reality.  A concrete format of sessions based on multiple clinical scenarios is presented: MUESCLI sessions. The objective is to provide a model of educational activity generated from inside Primary Health Care teams. It is professional and patient centered. It emphsizes the value of the team as an educational source and values the necessity of quick access to information once a problem has arisen from practice.

Keywords : Primary Health Care; Problem-based learning.
