Abstract

INTRODUCTION: The main issue of this article is the challenge that immigration becomes to our society . After showing the non community immigrant´s profile and the complexity of the immigrants and health staff relationships´,  we show the main evaluation models, from which a variety of different methods emerge, some of them applicable to health education programmes.  We´ll analyze the "respondent" model of  stake. OBJETIVE: to offer a tool to evaluate health education programmes for immigrants. METHODOLOGY: active research and bibliographical revision about programmes evaluation and immigration in our closer  context. RESULTS: in view of the profile of immigrants,  the use of the model of stake is suitable for health promotion programes evaluation in immigrant population. CONCLUSIONS: health promotion programmes evaluation  mustn´t be a "cuasi evaluation" that consists just of figures and percentages,  without considering other important aspects
