Objectives: To analyze the internal reliability and validity of the COOP/WONCA questionnaire administered via telephone call to people suffering from hip and knee arthrosis. Methodology: Design: Descriptive study. Sample: 139 people. The statistical analysis carries out an exploratory factorial analysis and an internal reliability calculated by the intraclass correlation coefficient. Results: The factorial analysis shows a greater total explained variance without the item "Today´s health compared to two weeks ago" (69.476), with two components which represented 44.893 and 24.584, respectively. The internal reliability resulted in 0.8179 for the ά of Cronbach value. Discussion: It can be concluded that the COOP/WONCA scale with 6 items is easy to use via telephone call to people suffering from hip and knee arthrosis, and shows valid and reliable properties.
