It is an exploratory research, integrative review type, which aimed to analyze the production of knowledge about the elderly in living and leisure centers. Data collection took place in January and February 2015, at the Virtual Library Database Health in CUIDEN and CINAHL, LILACS e SCIELO from 2005 to 2014. At the end, 14 studies were included in this study. The results show concentration of studies in the years 2011, 2012 and 2014 and most were linked to public institutions researchers. The analysis made it possible to classify the results into two categories: Physical activity and community groups for the elderly; Quality of life for the elderly. It was found that the analyzed productions about this theme still have incipient and recently the study period.
