In clinical delicated situations the special use of drugs can be of great usefulness for pharmacological treatment. The special use of the medicines generalizes several terms and concepts could generate mistakes of prescription and dispensation drugs. It is suitable to differentiate the medicines of compassionate use, off-label and unlicensed or disapproved drugs.
