Resumen
AMEZCUA, Manuel et al. Documentary resources CUIDEN and its usefulness for the evaluation of knowledge in Health Care. Index Enferm [online]. 2019, vol.28, n.3, pp.157-162. Epub 13-Jul-2020. ISSN 1699-5988.
The inclusion of scientific journals in documentary sources has evolved from completeness towards selectivity, depending on the increasing use made of them for the purpose of knowledge evaluation. The CUIDEN environment, which incorporates the reference database and the quotation index CUIDEN Citation, has not been oblivious to this trend, so that in recent years it has exceeded the selection criteria, while reducing the time in that bi-biometric information is available. In this paper both documentary resources are described and their properties are exposed in the evaluation of nursing and related journals of the Ibero-American field, thus complementing the scarce information that other more generic sources provide about them. As an example, two evaluation models are provided for the most producing countries of nursing knowledge in Latin America: Brazil and Spain.
