Pain Units are set in Spain since 1966, being most of them hospitable services in which pain study and treatment are developed. This Units first started in Extremadura in 2002 and were made suitable for our region´s necessities, making a formative program towards Primary Attention and Hospitable Services, establishing clinical and functional derivative criteria. Five years after we set forth our experience in this organisation model.
