Objective: To assess the dependency's level of users admitted to a Public Residence of the Regional Welfare Service, comparing the results obtained with the Official Rating Scale, the Barthel Index and the Functional Classification Instrument Resident (based in the RAI-NH 2.0). Method: Descriptive, observational, including all the incomes that occurred in the Center's first year of study, and reassessing the discordant cases annually. Conclusions: The Official Scale ranked higher levels of dependence on a high percentage of users.
