Abstract

Objective:

To describe, through a clinical case, the therapeutic process carried out in an integrative manner to a patient with wounds due to alteration of microcirculation of metabolic origin, emphasizing metabolic, analytical, social and nutritional assessments.

Methodology:

The approach to the metabolic examination and the functional assessment of the results of the analytical parameters to be taken into account in healing to personalize the cures and recommendations for feeding and supplementation.

Results:

The case was resolved in the primary care complex wounds in 6 months.

Conclusions:

Taking physiology into account when approaching a patient with wounds is essential to understand the healing mechanisms, allowing the development of more effective therapeutic strategies and improving the understanding of the complications of the healing process.
