The appearance of COVID-19 has been a problem for public health on a global scale, putting pressure on health care systems. The after-effects of this illness have highlighted the importance of rehabilitation in long COVID patients involving different health professionals. The treatment of the respiratory after-effects of this disease in an outpatient setting is a specialized field. It is appropriate to offer a series of practical recommendations of cardio-respiratory rehabilitation that are helpful to the professionals involved in the after-effects when ending hospitalisation.
