We present the use of the Operating Microscope (OM ) in the current endodontics. We describe the management of the OM during the clinical procedures of root canal treatment and microsurgical endodontics. Magnification of the operating field, along with illumination and clinical documentation makes its use an invaluable instrument in todays endodontics practice. The OM provides the clinician a world of information previously undetected which increases the probability to achieve therapeutic success.
