Gingival recession is an aesthetical problem that can become an inconvenience for the patient. As an alternative to mucogingival surgery, the gingival tissue can be replaced with composite resins that imitate the colour of the gingiva. We will now consider the different treatment options as well as the generic methods used in their placement.
