Abstract

ANDRES GALACHE, Belén. Nursing diagnosis in patients with chronic renal insufficiency under haemodialysis. Rev Soc Esp Enferm Nefrol [online]. 2004, vol.7, n.3, pp.158-163. ISSN 1139-1375.

For the identification of nursing diagnosis in patients with chronic renal insufficiency we have used the process of nursing care in its phases of validation and diagnosis. Validation is done using the 11 Majory Gordon´s Functional Patterns and the physical exam of the patient. Patient´s data are interpreted and analyzed obtaining nursing diagnosis that have been organized according to those patterns. For diagnosis classification we have used the NANDA II taxonomy. The study concludes that the use of those patterns allows the identification of diagnosis directly resulting in a good guide to evaluate health status, and life style of the patient. The following diagnosis were obtained: nutritional-metabolic, activity-exercise, autoperception-autoconcept, discharge, cognitive-perception, rol-relationships.

Keywords : Nursing diagnosis; Chronic renal insufficiency; Haemodialysis.
