The quality management is an essential process in any business, specially in services. This process carries with resource consumption, and the optimal management involves making decisions about sampling in the opinion of users and customers. This article has applied the Generalizability Analysis, as a technique that can help in making decisions about sampling the opinion of users and customers. It implies both studies, one quantitative and other belonging to mixed methods. The first study involved 738 participants, and has used the adaptation assessment questionnaire about perceived quality in sports services (CECASDEP MEX v.1). The first sample consist of 381 participants of both genders, 189 men (49.6%) and 182 woman (47.8%), values lost 10 (2.6%). The age range is between 14 to 69 years old (M=28.26), and all are active members of university sports organizations. The second sample consist of 357 participants of both genders; 156 men (43.7%) and 195 woman (54.6%), values lost 6 (1.7%). Divided into age range between 14 to 61 years old (M=24.76), and all are active users of university sports organizations. In the second study there are integrated complementarity data qualitative and quantitative, according the approach of mixed methods. The collection of qualitative data was performed using individual interviews and quantitative analysis through facial emotion recognition. The sample involved 29 participants (n=29), that were children between 5 to 12 years old. The sampling was randomly and stratified proportionaly. In both studies, we have made an optimization of measurement designs through Generalizability Analysis, using the SAGT program.
