Abstract

TEREZA ARAUJO, A.  and  DOSIL, J.. Relations between attitudes and practice of physical activity and sport in men and women. CPD [online]. 2016, vol.16, n.3, pp.67-72. ISSN 1989-5879.

This study covers the relationship between attitudes and practice of physical activities and sports between men and women. It has been used a sample of 2800 subjects, 1245 men and 1555 women, aged between 12 and 92 years (x̄= 30,69; sd=19,10) who filled the Escala Actitudes hacia la Actividad Física y el Deporte de Dosil (2002). The results show the direct relationship between attitude and sport, being that the male subjects have a more positive attitude towards physical activity and sport than the subjects of the opposite sex.
