The analysis of the job satisfaction is an indicator of the quality of the service provided, becoming in an indirect way, an instrument for improving the quality of health care. Objective: analyze the job satisfaction of nursing professionals of the Mobile Units of Emergencies in the Region of Murcia. Methodology: Quantitative cross-sectional study with a convenience sample of 77 nurses from the Emergency Mobile Units. The study was conducted from February to April 2013. Overall level of satisfaction: the NTP 394 scale: Job Satisfaction was used to measure satisfaction. We proceeded to the descriptive and statistical analysis of association of variables with the statistical program SPSS (V.15). Results: The response rate was 90.58%. The study results reflect an average overall satisfaction (M=72.12; SD=13.97); the "colleagues" and "working shift" are the best evaluated aspects. Conclusions: This study showed a high level of job satisfaction of nurses in the Emergency Mobile Units of the Region of Murcia. However, the detection of occupational aspects that produce dissatisfaction is an important tool concerning the establishment of improvement actions from managers of health organizations.
