Agustín Muñoz Sanz is a doctor, novelist, playwright and history studious. He was born in Extremadura (Spain). In 2003 he published 'Winter Diary', an intimate diary in which he talks about his clinical and human experiences with AIDS patients during the last years of the 20th century. This book also contains notes on his historiographical work about hospital and therapeutic care in the Monastery of Guadalupe, at the time of the Renaissance, his interest in the figure of the doctor Francisco Arceo, as well as reflections on life, death, literature, music and poetry.
