We present the case of an asymptomatic patient, a high-performance athlete, who, after an electrocardiogram, was diagnosed with cardiac pre-excitation syndrome without tachycardia. He underwent an ablation of the accessory pathway. Cardiac pre-excitation consists in one or several accessory pathways which bypass the atrioventricular node. It is important to carry out a cardiac study in all patients who practice intense sport activities.
