Case report is about a 39 year-old male with a clinical profile of painful swelling purplish red at the back of lower limbs, fever and bilateral, hilar lymphadenopathy. Biopsy of skin lesions and mediastinal lymph nodes was performed, resulting in the diagnosis of sarcoidosis and erythema nodosum respectively. The association of these clinical and pathological findings made possible the diagnosis of Löfgren syndrome.
