Resumen
DEBAN BLANCO, J.; GARCIA LUQUE, A. y CASTILLO CHAMORRO, J.M.. Optimization of sanitary military deployments in operations using modeling and simulation techniques. Sanid. Mil. [online]. 2016, vol.72, n.1, pp.8-14. ISSN 1887-8571.
Background: Simulation is one of the most useful techniques for decision making support. Unfortunately, there are very few software tools that support simulation techniques to evaluate sanitary military deployments. Objectives: The aim of this article is to show the possibilities of the simulation software tools to support the planning phase of a sanitary military deployment. Material and methods: We used the Monte Carlo method to simulate and evaluate the effectiveness of a sanitary military deployment. Results: The simulation results allow us to compare different deployment possibilities in order to decide which works better in a tactical maneuver. Conclusions: An "ad hoc" based system simulation can help choose the most efficient sanitary military deployment.
