The main reason is the constant migration process along with increasing birth rate in the host country. Immigrants are facing stressful situations: leave their families, their social environment, language barriers, beliefs and manners. We need to provide support to immigrants in a way that respect their cultures. here are several authors who studied transcultural nursing models and theories to provide adequate healthcare to patients of different ethnicities.
