Accepting what is written by Heidegger, the form of expression of a person will be care. Linking this idea with the concept of self-care, and due to specifying it as a conscious and deliberate action, we carried out a study about the awareness of the need to look for relationship between the abilities of the person and the surrounding context. This proyect has carried out by extraction of knowledge from bibliographic sources, documentary analysis and experts discursatio. The conclusion is that context influences the awareness of the need.
