Abstract
JUVE-UDINA, Maria-Eulàlia. Capacidad discriminante del diagnóstico enfermero principal con el uso de la Terminología ATIC: estimación ponderal preliminar. Ene. [online]. 2017, vol.11, n.3, 724. Epub Nov 07, 2017. ISSN 1988-348X.
This preliminary study aims at determining the screening power of the main nursing diagnosis, measuring its weight estimation. Observational, descriptive, retrospective design in a sample of 20.594 in-patients’ e-charts. The study variable, main nursing diagnosis weight, was categorized into 9 weighting stages, corresponding to DRG-APR severity and mortality risk. Preliminary findings suggest that the weight of each main diagnosis, after severity and mortality risk formulation, distributes them into clinically logical categories. Risk for disuse syndrome. Risk of multiorgan failure and risk of cardiogenic shock had the greater weights.
