Protocols allow identifying patient health problems, planning and carrying out necessary nursing care. If we take into account that the protocols are a tool of the quality of nursing care, that has an effect on the patient, the family and the community, there is a need from a higher theoretic treatment as a scientific result. The article’s objective is to identify the theoretic regularities of nursing care protocols.
