Abstract
MARTINEZ MERLO, Jorge Andres; LASTRE AMELL, Gloria Elena and CASSIANI, Caroli. Cuidados de enfermería en pacientes con Síndrome Coronario Agudo (SCA). Ene. [online]. 2019, vol.13, n.2, 1329. Epub Oct 21, 2019. ISSN 1988-348X.
Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) is a consequence of multiple factors, being one of the most prevalent atherosclerosis (fatty plaques in arteries) and is sub classified in cardiovascular diseases. Within the medical field it is cataloged as a clinical emergency. Likewise, the World Health Organization (WHO) points out those cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide. Every year more people die from cardiovascular diseases than from any other cause. Among the risk factors for its development is sedentary lifestyle, inadequate nutrition, diabetes, stress, smoking, hypertension among others. For this reason, the objective of this clinical case was to implement a nursing care plan in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) through the application of the Betty Neuman systems model and based on the use of standardized taxonomies (Nanda, Nic and Noc). This article developed an individualized care plan (PCI) focused on the diagnoses of: Acute pain, Anxiety, Decreased cardiac output and interruption of family processes. Without the development of these diagnoses the recovery process of the patient would not have been possible, since its main complications were not only physical but also psychosocial.
