Abstract

The family is one of the most important systems that contribute to health and favor the improvement of the quality of life. The objective was to determine how the type of family is related to the quality of life in diabetic patients with COVID 19, it was a quantitative approach. To assess the health-related quality of life in patients with diabetes, the Diabetes 39 (D-39) instrument was used. After analyzing the information, it was possible to conclude that there is no relationship between the type of family and the quality of life of the diabetic patient with COVID 19. However, this study found that, with increasing age, sexual life and the mobility of the diabetic patient is also affected.
