CLINICAL CASE: A 23-year-old woman with no previous history of interest, attended our clinic for the presence of an asymptomatic swelling of 8 months evolution on the side of the tongue. On examination, a swelling of 0.5 x 1.0 cm, solid, well-delimited, non mobile and yellowish in colour was observed. The lesion was extirpated (fig 1) and a biopsy carried out (fig 2-3).
