Introduction

Para organizar la presentación de comunicaciones al Congreso, el Comité Científico remitió a los países miembros a través de sus respectivos inspectores generales de Sanidad, unas directrices para la presentación de los resúmenes señalando una fecha límite para su recepción. Con posterioridad, esta fecha inicial se prolongó hasta el 15 de julio, para facilitar la confección de los resúmenes a los autores.

In order to organize the communications to the Congress, the Scientific Committee sent to the member countries, through their respective General Health Inspectors, guidelines for the presentation of abstracts, indicating a deadline for their receipt. Subsequently, this initial date was extended until July 15 to facilitate the author’s preparation of the abstracts.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  1. The abstracts submission deadline is June 20th, 2021.

  2. The topics to be covered are those mentioned above.

  3. Each nation may submit up to three abstracts (3), -preferably each one under a specific topic of those indicated. The abstract body should not exceed 350 words, excluding title, authors and affiliation information.

  4. You will find enclosed a template for submission of the abstract.

  5. Abstracts must be submitted as a Microsoft Word file and a PDF file.

  6. Graphics, figures, or tables are not permitted, unless they are essential for the understanding of the abstract.

  7. The abstracts must be submitted in English only.

  8. Abbreviations can be used, provided they are defined at first usage.

  9. The abstracts should sent via e-mail ww

  10. State in the subject of the e-mail the following information: «Country abbreviation - Topic number - Abstract tittle», (e.g., «ES- Topic II- Vaccination strategies during Covid-19 pandemic»).

  11. The following information must be included in the body of the e-mail:

    1. Abstract title.

    2. Abstract submitted under the topic I, II or III

    3. List of authors (specify the corresponding author).

    4. Affiliation: Country, organisation, job title.

    5. Contact e-mail of the corresponding author (optional: contact phone number).

    6. Attached abstract file/s.

  12. The corresponding author will receive acknowledgment of receipt of their abstracts. In case of not receiving it, please let us know through the email below.

  13. All the submitted abstracts will be admitted. Due to the time available for the discussion panels during the Congress, the Scientific Committee may select a limited number to be exposed in an oral presentation.

  14. The corresponding author of the selected abstracts will be contacted by the Scientific Committee to guide the subsequent steps.

  15. The Scientific Committee will exclusively evaluate the abstracts received up to the deadline, justified exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  16. The rules for oral presentation and other details will be sent to the selected authors well in advance (tentative date July 31st).

  17. All the abstracts submitted will be collected in the Congress Book, together with the conclusions of the conferences.
