La utilización de rellenos híbridos, en especial la asociación de ácido hialurónico (HA) e hidroxiapatita cálcica (CaHA), se ha erigido como una estrategia innovadora que se presenta como segura y eficaz en el rejuvenecimiento facial mínimamente invasivo. El objetivo del presente estudio es revisar la evidencia científica actual y el estado del arte en relación a la utilización de rellenos híbridos, proporcionando una visión integral de su uso y su relevancia en la práctica clínica contemporánea en medicina estética facial.  Material y método. Revisión de la literatura publicada sobre rellenos híbridos con HA y CaHA en rejuvenecimiento facial mínimamente invasivo empleando los motores de búsqueda PubMed y SciELO y los términos MeSH (Hybrid / Híbrido) AND (Filler / Relleno) AND (Facial / Facial).  Resultados. De los 14 artículos revisados, 4 exploran retrospectivamente los efectos de los rellenos híbridos, 7 realizan un análisis prospectivo de su aplicación, y 3 un análisis descriptivo de sus efectos. En cuanto a la forma de administración conjunta de ambos rellenos, en 3 artículos la aplicación fue secuencial, en 6 se hizo hibridación in situ, y en 5 prehibridación.  Conclusiones. Del estudio comparativo de las publicaciones revisadas podemos concluir que los rellenos híbridos, tanto administrados de forma secuencial como hibridados en el mismo vial, son una herramienta eficaz y versátil en el rejuvenecimiento facial. La sinergia entre sus efectos voluminizador y de estimulación del colágeno permite obtener resultados satisfactorios con una tasa de complicaciones similar a la de su uso independiente. Para optimizar sus beneficios es preciso llevar a cabo un análisis facial exhaustivo de nuestros pacientes y realizar una indicación adecuada.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  Background and objective. The use of hybrid fillers, particularly the combination of hyaluronic acid (HA) and calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA), has emerged as an innovative strategy that is both safe and effective for minimally invasive facial rejuvenation. The aim of this study is to review the current scientific evidence and state-of-the-art regarding the use of hybrid fillers, providing a comprehensive perspective on their application and relevance in contemporary clinical practice within facial aesthetic medicine.  Methods. A review of the published literature on hybrid fillers with HA and CaHA for minimally invasive facial rejuvenation was conducted using the PubMed and SciELO search engines. The MeSH terms used were (Hybrid / Híbrido) AND (Filler / Relleno) AND (Facial / Facial).  Results. Of the 14 articles reviewed, 4 retrospectively analyze the effects of hybrid fillers, 7 conduct prospective analyses of their application, and 3 present descriptive analyses of their effects. Regarding the combined administration of both fillers, 3 articles report sequential application, 6 describe in situ hybridization, and 5 involve pre-hybridization.  Conclusions. Based on the comparative analysis of the reviewed publications, we conclude that hybrid fillers, whether administered sequentially or combined in a single vial, represent an effective and versatile tool for facial rejuvenation. The synergy between their volumizing and collagen-stimulating effects allows for satisfactory results with a complication rate similar to that of their independent use. To optimize benefits, it is essential to conduct a thorough facial analysis of patients and make appropriate indications.]]></p></abstract>
