La anemia postquirúrgica es una complicación frecuente en pacientes sometidos a liposucción, procedimiento ampliamente realizado a nivel mundial. En Colombia, este tipo de cirugía estética ha mostrado un crecimiento significativo, especialmente en pacientes extranjeros, lo que exige mayor atención a sus riesgos asociados. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo evaluar las variaciones en los niveles de hemoglobina en el postoperatorio de pacientes sometidos a liposucción, identificando los factores asociados a su disminución.  Material y método. Estudio cuantitativo, observacional, transversal, en una clínica privada de Pereira, Colombia, entre abril de 2022 y septiembre de 2023. Se analizaron 113 registros de pacientes mayores de 17 años sometidos a liposucción. La información se recolectó mediante un instrumento validado por el grupo ZIPATEFI y aprobado por la Dirección Médica de la clínica. Se controlaron sesgos de información y selección mediante revisión total de la matriz de datos y uso de Open Refine.  Resultados. No se halló asociación significativa entre edad, sexo, índice de masa corporal (IMC), volumen infiltrado, ni uso de anticoagulantes con el descenso de la hemoglobina. Sin embargo, sí se observó una fuerte relación estadística con el volumen aspirado y el número de procedimientos realizados simultáneamente. El mayor descenso ocurrió a las 72 horas de postoperatorio, seguido de una leve recuperación al octavo día. El 94.4% de los pacientes presentó algún grado de anemia.  Conclusiones. La anemia postoperatoria es la complicación más frecuente en pacientes sometidos a liposucción. Bajo nuestra experiencia, se recomienda el seguimiento hemático riguroso durante la primera semana tras la intervención para prevenir y manejar oportunamente sus efectos. <abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  Background and objective. Postoperative anemia is a frequent complication in patients undergoing liposuction, a widely practiced procedure worldwide. In Colombia, the rise in aesthetic surgerie, particularly among international patients, demands greater focus on associated risks. This study aimed to assess hemoglobin variations after liposuction and identify the factors influencing postoperative hemoglobin decrease.  Methods. A quantitative, observational, cross-sectional, study was conducted at a private clinic in Pereira, Colombia, from April 2022 to September 2023. A total of 113 patient undergoing liposuction records (aged over 17) were analyzed. Data was collected using a tool validated by the ZIPATEFI research group and approved by the clinic&#8217;s medical directorate. Information and selection bias were controlled through full data matrix review and the use of Open Refine.  Results. No statistically significant association was found between age, sex, body mass index (BMI), infiltrated volume, or the use of postoperative anticoagulants with hemoglobin decrease. A strong association was found with the aspirated volume and the number of procedures performed during the same surgical session. The most significant decrease occurred at 72 hours postoperatively, with partial recovery by day 8. A total of 94.4% of patients exhibited some degree of postoperative anemia.  Conclusions.
