Material y método: Se trata de un estudio retrospectivo descriptivo de una serie de 1422 pacientes intervenidos de rinoplastia con fines feminizantes, desde enero de 2013 hasta enero de 2023.  Resultados: El seguimiento postoperatorio abarcó un rango entre 2 y 109 meses. No hubo ninguna reintervención de urgencia. La tasa de cirugía de revisión propia es del 3,14 % (n = 45), siendo las causas más comunes la presencia de irregularidades en el dorso, falta de definición o proyección de la punta, asimetría en las narinas y laterodesviación.  Conclusiones: La rinoplastia es un procedimiento quirúrgico con el que se pretende realizar un embellecimiento de la nariz, manteniendo o mejorando su función. El uso de técnicas apropiadas de estructuración, así como el uso de instrumental ultrasónico, plasma rico en fibrina (PRF) y planificación de la escultura y osteotomía mediante TAC 3D y confección de guías de corte, hacen que la predictibilidad mejore sustancialmente, así como la estabilidad de resultados a medio y largo plazo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT  Objectives: Describe step by step our open rhinoplasty technique that includes the application of new technologies such as the use of piezoelectric instruments, fibrin-rich plasma and customized 3D cutting guides for performing osteotomies using specific software, as well as our results.  Material and method: This is a retrospective descriptive study of a series of 1,422 patients who underwent rhinoplasty for feminizing purposes from January 2013 to January 2023.  Results: Postoperative follow-up ranged from 2 to 109 months. There was no emergency reintervention. The rate of self-revision surgery is 3.14 % (n = 45), with the most common causes being the presence of irregularities on the dorsum, lack of definition or projection of the tip, asymmetry in the nostrils and lateral deviation.  Conclusions: Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that aims to beautify the nose, maintaining or improving its function. The use of appropriate structuring techniques, as well as the use of ultrasonic instruments, fibrin-rich plasma (PRF) and planning of the sculpture and osteotomy using 3D CT and preparation of cutting guides, mean that the predictability improves substantially, as well as the stability of results in the medium and long term.]]></p></abstract>
