Introducción: La inteligencia artificial (IA) tiene un gran potencial para mejorar la seguridad y salud en el trabajo mediante la implementación de tecnologías avanzadas  Material y Métodos: Se realizó una revisión sistemática siguiendo las directrices PRISMA y MOOSE. Se realizó búsqueda en PubMed, Cochrane, BVS, Scopus y Google Académico. Se realizo un proceso de selección y valoración de la calidad metodológica de los estudios.  Resultados: Se incluyeron 15 estudios. Se apreció efectividad de las redes neuronales en la predicción de pérdida auditiva, los programas de salud asistidos por IA mejoraron los síntomas musculoesqueléticos y se destacó la capacidad de la IA para la vigilancia y diagnóstico de enfermedades ocupacionales.  Discusión: Los hallazgos de esta revisión sugieren que la IA puede mejorar la seguridad y salud en el trabajo, reducir costos y promover un entorno laboral más seguro, aunque los estudios carecieron de diseños experimentales robustos y seguimiento a largo plazo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT  Background: Artificial intelligence (AI) has great potential to improve occupational safety and health by implementing advanced technologies.  Material and Methods: A systematic review was performed following PRISMA and MOOSE guidelines. We searched PubMed, Cochrane, BVS, Scopus and Google Scholar. A process of selection and evaluation of the methodological quality of the studies was carried out.  Results: 15 studies were included. The effectiveness of neural networks in predicting hearing loss was appreciated, AI-assisted health programs improved musculoskeletal symptoms, and the capacity of AI for surveillance and diagnosis of occupational diseases was highlighted.  Discussion: The findings of this review suggest that AI can improve occupational safety and health, reduce costs, and promote a safer work environment, although the studies lacked robust experimental designs and long-term follow-up.]]></p></abstract>
